National Missions Conference

by an SIM Missionary to Africa

21 - 23 June 2018

ACS Barker Road Campus I Singapore

By 2050, 70% of the world’s population will be living in cities. In response to this urgent call to reach out, the theme for GoForth 2018 is “GO URBAN”. Taking place from 21-23 June, at ACS Barker Road Campus, 60 Barker Road (S 309919).

There will be tracks in English, Mandarin and for Children (English). The topics cover different areas of interest for adults, Millenials, youth and children. There are over 50 workshops to choose from - Caring for the Invisible and Exploited, Inter-Faith Matters, Keys to Making Ends Meet, etc. - including a keynote address on City Missions and a workshop on Ethnic Minorities Ministries in the City by Rev Dr Lipsiong Chen* in Mandarin.

Tens of thousands of ethnic minorities from rural areas or other countries flock to the cities in hope of a better future. People of different ethnicities, cultures and religions may live in mixed housings, within the same area in the city. We need to know and understand them so that we can develop effective ways to reach them with the Good News.

Come explore what it means to Go Urban in missions. Catch God’s heartbeat for the cities and find out how YOU can make a difference! For more details visit: http://www.goforth.org.sg.
