SIM is an international mission organization with more than 4,000 workers serving in more than 70 countries. SIM members serve God among many diverse people groups in Asia, Africa and South America.

 

SIM workers are international by definition, representing about 70 nationalities—including nations that in the past only received missionaries. Today these ‘non-traditional’ sending countries are contributing greatly to the cause of world mission, including missionaries from Asia. SIM workers serve in all kinds of career fields and we are looking for people of any ethnicity and all skill sets, to take the gospel from everywhere to anywhere. 

 

SIM East Asia is a part of the SIM family and has about 160 active missionaries from 11 countries serving in 26 countries worldwide. SIM East Asia is expanding and hopes to have 280 missionaries in the field by 2021. The SIM East Asia office is based in Singapore but has councils throughout the region including: Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Philippines, Taiwan, East Malaysia and Brunei, West Malaysia and North East India.
