Memorial Fund

A good and faithful servant 
The late Rev Hsueh Yu Kwong was born in a small village of Sitiawan, Perak, Malaysia in 1919. Rev Hsueh was an evangelist, revivalist and missionary, well known among the Chinese world. Rev Hsueh passed away in 2004 leaving a legacy ‘to run with endurance the race that is set before us’ (Heb 12:1).

SIM continues this legacy through a memorial fund that is named after this faithful servant.

How the fund is used 
The income derived from the memorial fund shall be used to support programmes directly related to SIM East Asia’s mission endeavors. These include mission education, mobilization, missionary training and care as well as ministry expenses.

SIM East Asia Ltd Board and the Regional Director of SIM East Asia Ltd will oversee the investment and usage of the memorial fund. They are also responsible to ensure that the memorial fund is well protected and income of the memorial fund is used creditably and in line with SIM East Asia’s mission and vision. SIM East Asia Ltd will subject this fund to internal and external audits.
